The Kingdom's Estate, by Krista Dunk

A narrow road exits off of a major highway, and people pass by it every day. It leads to a spectacular, mysterious, grand estate that some are wary of; some are curious; some ignore. Those who hear of the path and feel curious venture down it and come to the walled estate with a fascinating gate. There's no key, there's no handle to open it yourself. A sign on the gate reads: "Kingdom demarcation. Jesus, the Son of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Do you believe?" After reading, many turn back to the highway and return to their old lives as usual. However, some standing at the gate disappear, being translated into the Kingdom of Light. These ones find themselves ushered through the gate; the door has been opened to them.

Inside are the vast, beautiful grounds of the estate with many things to see and do. People are everywhere; people from every ethnicity, culture and race, dressed in their Sunday best. Across the grounds is a giant fortress/castle-like building. All paths lead to it, and it emanates even more light than the grounds have. It has a mystery to it, a pull even, drawing those on the estate to enter it. Many, however, are preoccupied with the grounds and all there is to see and do, feeling that just being on the property is good enough.

Getting close to the fortress building, you can see that the door is continually open, and inside is a large foyer. A lot of people come and go from the foyer, visiting inside then returning to the grounds. Once inside, stairways, elevators, and hallways branch out from the foyer in all directions. A stone well sits in the middle of the foyer with a sign on it: "The Well of His Presence." Somehow, everyone knows there's a commitment in going down a hallway, getting on an elevator, or ascending the stairs. It's a call deeper and higher, which feels unknown and causes hesitation for many. A smaller number of people explore deeper into the fortress, yet in getting a glimpse of them, they are dressed differently. These people are in various stages of being outfitted with armor and weapons—the attire of warriors. Often, one of these people will come to the foyer with a recruitment call. "There's more, come deeper; have life in the Spirit!"

The building is filled with rooms to explore that are alive; rooms with revelation, truths, authority, anointings, graces, resources, and deep things of God. Even more so, the very presence of God is found here. This building's whole focus is relationship—to know Him. With every room He opens to us, He reveals more of Himself.

"Knock, and it shall be opened to you. Know Me and thus know yourself. Sit with Me and become strong, changed, refreshed, softened, sharpened. You have been called to deep exploration of Me and fellowship with Me. My desire is for you to find vibrant life in the Spirit. All of the things you've heard were possible are found here. If you ask, seek, and knock, I will answer, you will find, and I will open it to you."

Matthew 7:7, Luke 13:24
