This morning, an understanding bubbled into my mind as I was waking up. I say “bubbled up” because it felt like it landed in my understanding, my spiritual eyes, and my spiritual hearing all at once. The Lord was revealing that His people (those still on earth) are the necessary REINFORCEMENTS in this day and hour.
You see, usually we pray for angelic intervention and for God to send reinforcement, right? But I felt this morning that the Lord was calling HIS PEOPLE to rise up and become the reinforcements the Kingdom needs to advance in the earth.
How? Through prayer of course—so pray! Pray in your heavenly language especially. Do it now and do it without ceasing. Set a daily alarm to pray with me at 9 am and 3 pm—to lift your hands in prayer, setting your heart on Him very intentionally. Why at these times? It is the time of the morning and the evening sacrifice, and throughout Scripture, big things happened at these two times. Fire came down on the altar for Elijah at this time (the time of the evening sacrifice). Look into it more if He leads you to.
But also, I felt it was a call to the people of God to go on the offensive, to suddenly become militant in the Spirit, but also in the natural realm. To really take dominion for the Kingdom in our regions. To really become the “ones in charge” rather than the ones on the sidelines of society. To realize we are a force for good, meant to have influence.
If God is calling you to do something and you’ve been delaying, don’t wait any longer. He’s “putting you in the game.” Start that business. Sell that product. Share the Gospel at work. Pray for people in Walmart. Put in that job application. Do that course or whatever you need to do.
I plan to pray more and lean in more to understanding what becoming reinforcements for the Kingdom of Heaven means, but honestly it seems somewhat self-explanatory. We’ve been waiting on Him, and now He is waiting on us to move with and for Him.
Awaken, all you Reinforcing Ones! Go and accomplish all that is on the Father’s heart. Move in the power of the Spirit—in Jesus’ name! Heaven has been backing you; now, you back Heaven! You have been given all you need to accomplish this…
